Max - Manager of Salsa in Aylesbury

I have taught at Salsa in Aylesbury for many years and am honoured to be taking the club forward as manager.

Nothing makes me more happy than watching a nervous, "out of my comfort zone" beginner, develop into an accomplished dancer. Salsa is so great for the soul and there is no better feeling than putting on my dancing shoes and teaching at this amazing club.

I discovered salsa many years ago. Probably around 15 years ago.

I loved it from the start. It was my escape, and i made many friends along the way.

I also did some teaching, which is very rewarding. I love to be able to share my love of dancing with others.

I look forward to seeing you on the dance floor.

I`ve been dancing for about 6 years now. What I love about Salsa is that, to dance, it can be simple steps, challenging routines, or anywhere in between.  For me it is not to be the best dancer, it`s to have the most fun with lovely people.

I`ve been dancing for nearly 17 years and teaching for about 13 of those.  Does that make me a contender for Strictly? No! It just means I love social salsa dancing and all the wonderful people I meet through it.  Salsa in Aylesbury is a great venue to learn and improve your dancing skills, have fun and pick up a few hints and tips to make you look

`FAB-U-LOUS` on the dancefloor.

I`ve been dancing for many years, having discovered Salsa as a teenager, it continues to be an outlet for creativity, building confidence, making friends and keeping fit - I couldn`t imagine life without it!

Having attended dance classes at Salsa in Aylesbury since 2018,  it was a privilege to be asked to join the teaching team, which opens a new and exciting chapter to my dancing journey.

Come along and join us on the dance floor, I`m sure you wont  regret  it!

I was first introduced to dancing through my parents who dance Rock n Roll Jive, when I joined them at their local club. From that moment, I became addicted to dancing. Soon after, I found salsa. At first, I struggled to learn as I’m not what you would consider a ‘natural.’ The thing is, I quickly learned that it doesn’t matter, everyone starts at the same place and it’s such a welcoming community! I have met some of the most wonderful people through dancing, that I don’t just consider dance friends, but are some of my closest friends.

I will always remember what it was like to be a beginner. I strive to create a comfortable and fun environment where we can learn whilst also having fun, with no pressure! The truth is nobody ever stops learning salsa. I aim to teach and deliver lessons which I would also enjoy as a student. I enjoy teaching equally to learning - there is nothing better than watching people grow as they go through their own salsa journey.

The reason I believe dancing is such a great outlet, is that when you’re dancing with somebody, connecting with them through the dance and the music, in that moment, nothing else matters. You are lost in the now. It doesn’t matter your social status, your job, your background. You’re two equals going on a journey together and having the greatest time. I hope to see you on the dance floor!
